2 FMDS students have recently emerged victorious from the "Your Life, Your Canvas" t-shirt design competition that was held on the 5th of December 2009 at the prestigious Supper Club.

Miss Chew Zhen Ling and Miss Tonkao Nitasganjanon clinched 1st and 3rd ...prizes respectively beating out 23 other competitors who participated in the competition.
"Your Life Your Canvas" was jointly organised by the Health Promotion Board of Singapore in conjunction with World Aids Day to educate youths of the dangers of the HIV virus.
When interviewed, Miss Nitasganjanon said, " I am happy that I won a prize and I really enjoyed the entire event especially the rock bands that performed".

The champion Miss Chew was surprised that she emerged the overall winner, she said that she was really surprised and ecstatic that she clinched so many votes for her design.
Apart from the t-shirt design competition, the event was also lined up with various exciting performance acts such as popular local bands and grafitti showcases.

The event started off with a spectacular grafitti opening showcase by local artist "Killer Gerbil", which then lead the way to a rocking live performance from Electrico and the night finally mellowed down with a sensational unplugged performance by Jack and Rai.
Dignitaries from the health, medical, arts and education sectors coordinately graced the event.
