Mark Phooi
CEO of FM Consulting Group
CEO of FMDS & Head of Design Management Faculty
Mark Phooi graduated from UNSW with a Master’s degree in Design. Spearheading over 20 design communication agencies in Singapore and regionally, Mark has garnered multiple creative and business awards during his two decades of professional experiences in the design industry.
As CEO of the First Media Consulting Group, Mark won both the prestigious Enterprise 50 Start-up Award in 2005 and Top Entrepreneurs of the Year Award in 2006, a feat no trained graphic designer has ever accomplished.
As manager and leader, Mark has trained and nurtured more than 30 ‘DesignPreneurs’ throughout his career by means of his own brand of design management. Mark’s brand of ‘tested and tried’ Design Management programme was created to nurture and equip FMDS students, with skills and management know-how to become future ‘DesignPreneurs’.

David Foo
Principal of First Media Design School Singapore / Jakarta
Head of Visual Communication (Graphic Design)
David graduated with a Masters in Design from UNSW, soon after graduating from his Bachelors of Graphic Design from Curtin University, Australia. He is also a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner and accredited in Whole Brain Technology, Herrmann International.
For nearly 20 years, David was a board of director for various organisations and was engaged to assist in start ups, mergers and expansions.
As a highly experienced group creative director, he specializes in design related topics using innovative and out of the box delivery methods
Hailed as an engaging speaker, company directors, professors, scientists, lawyers, managers and students from Asia Pacific countries benefit from his self-created training programs on Creativity and The Whole Brain Preference.

Ryan Kharisma
Centre Executive
A young & dynamic designer who believes that personal touches can transform ordinary things into the extra-ordinary. Ryan graduated with an Advanced Diploma from First Media Design School Jakarta majoring in Multimedia Design. He was also awarded as the winner for "The Most Promising student award'. He also bagged the bronze awards from "The OneShow" Asia Pacific region for MasterCard online campaign competition for First Media Design School in 2009 and was also awarded the "Best in Annual Report Design" from FMDS Jakarta in 2008..
Ryan, although new in the industry has already handled various reknowned clients like World Food Program (WFP) Indonesia, UNICEF hongkong, Adrienne Shaffer Roma-Itali, Campina, Penabur International School, Victoria Bank, Frogurt, Makarim & Taira law firm, etc...while he was a student in FMDS Jakarta.
Combining extra-ordinary creativity & customer centric attitude, Ryan brings out unconventional, bold & genuine value that reflects first class creative professionalism & also initiates world class design entrepreneurship of First Media Design School to the industry. He is currently working in FMDS Jakarta as the centre executive of Operations & Promotions.
He is definitely an evident proof of First Media Design School's industrial based design training programme for the design industry.
